Zuo, Herman Miller Reach Settlement Over Office Chairs
Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, July 9, 2011
SAN LEANDRO, Calif. - Contemporary furniture source Zuo Modern says it has settled a lawsuit with office furniture manufacturer Herman Miller after a year of litigation.
As part of the agreement, Zuo will stop selling the Lider, Lider Hi-back, Lider Conference, Espia, Nexos, Director and Director Hi-back office chairs in the United States after Aug. 23. It is encouraging customers to place orders soon since it has limited stock on hand and in transit.
Zuo Modern also showed for the first time at the Neocon contract furnishings show in Chicago earlier this month. The company introduced 20 new office chairs, all exclusive to Zuo.
