Klaussner Home Furnishings

     ASHEBORO, N.C. - Randy Kovash has been named regional vice president of sales for Klaussner Home Furnishings, a new position.
     Kovash, a 24-year industry veteran, joins Klaussner from Lane Furniture, where he was regional sales manager. He will report to Brandunn Rush, vice president of sales.

Feizy Rugs
     DALLAS - Feizy Rugs has appointed Mitzi Thomasson as director of design and product development.
     Before joining Feizy, Thomasson worked as director of design and development for Savoy House Lighting for 12 years. In her new role, she will be responsible for the creation and development of Feizy Rug's Fine and Home Collections and will report to John Feizy, president and CEO.

KnopfKnopf     FRIANT, Calif. - Bedding retailer Karrie Knopf has joined the board of directors of the Specialty Sleep Assn., a nonprofit trade group that includes representatives from the manufacturing, supply and retail sectors.
     Knopf, market specialist at Winfield, W. Va.-based Innovative Mattress Solutions, fills the board seat formerly held by SSA President Dale Read, who was appointed to the executive position in 2010.
     "On behalf of the entire SSA board, we look forward to Karrie's contributions to our organization," Read said.
     "She brings new energy, as well as the retailer's point-ofview, and with her business focus on the in-store shopping experience, that of the consumer as well."
     "The specialty sleep category is an important business driver for retailers like IMS," Knopf said. "It's an honor to serve on the SSA board."

Capel

     TROY, N.C. - Capel Rugs has named Ron Bristow showroom manager of its High Point showroom, located in Market Square, space 112.
     Bristow will be responsible for sales and visual merchandising at the showroom. He reports to Allen Robertson, vice president of sales.
     Bristow previously worked in sales management with Capel. Before joining the company, he worked for retailer Hendricks Furniture Group.

Spring Air South
AtkinsonAtkinson     ATLANTA - Spring Air South has named Seth Atkinson eastern regional sales manager, reporting to the Price family, owners of the Atlantabased licensee.
     Atkinson, who lives in Greenville, S.C., will oversee five Spring Air sales representatives covering Georgia, South Carolina and eastern Tennessee.
     Before joining Spring Air, Atkinson was a territory manager for Tempur- Pedic since 2005. Before that he worked for Kingsdown at the company's Knoxville, Tenn., facility and in sales as a territory manager covering at various times Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and parts of Alabama.

Safavieh

     PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. - Safavieh has promoted Kevin Yaraghi to credit manager for wholesale operations.
In his new role, Yaraghi will be responsible for all credit department functions and staff at the rug and furniture source. He joined Safavieh in May 2010 and has been assigned to several retail division positions, where he focused on developing the company's recently launched retail website. K. YaraghiK. Yaraghi
     "We are building strong relationships with customers and at the same time assisting the Safavieh sales team by continuing our efforts to manage and reduce risk," he said.
     Cyrus Yaraghi, company principal, said Kevin Yaraghi "has been involved in both the front end of the credit department with credit approvals, and back end collections and resolutions. His leadership in these areas will be an asset to both the sales force and customers."
