ST. LOUIS - Weekends Only Furniture Outlet here has promoted Kristin Elsner to marketing supervisor.
Responsibilities for Elsner, who joined the Top 100 company in 2008 as website and advertising specialist, now include development and implementation of the retailer's expansion into digital media and marketing research focused on meeting customers' needs.
"One of our values is growth, and Kristin's promotion recognizes her significant contribution and continued growth since joining Weekends Only," CEO Tom Phillips said in a release. He said that Elsner "will play an integral role as we continue toward our vision of become one of the Top 50 home furnishings retailers."
Weekends Only is No. 90 on Furniture/Today's most recent Top 100 U.S. Furniture Stores report, ending 2010 with four stores and furniture, bedding and accessories sales of $47.9 million. Earlier this year, it opened its largest store in Manchester, Mo., with nearly 70,000 square feet of selling space.
