Logistics expert McColloch to run Bernhardt’s transportation

LENOIR, N.C. – Eric McColloch has joined full-line high-end vendor Bernhardt Furniture as director of transportation.

McColloch was most recently site manager at XPO Logistics, one of the world’s 10 largest providers of transportation and logistics services. Prior to that, he held management positions with PortWatch Production Services, Menlo Logistics, and was a partner and vice president at Cargo Logistics LLC. McColloch earned a BS in International Business concentrated in intermodal transportation at the College of Charleston.

At Bernhardt, McColloch oversees domestic and international shipping, warehousing, the corporation’s private fleet trucking operations, and will analyze and select the corporation’s logistics service providers. McCulloch reports to Pete Craymer, senior vice president and CFO. 

 “Eric’s extensive experience in logistics, and wealth of knowledge in domestic and international shipping, will have a tremendous impact on our ability to grow our business and deliver goods cost effectively, reliably, and on time to internal and external customers,” said Craymer.

McColloch looks forward to joining a company with more than 125 years of successfully delivering high quality products.
