Chaddock simplifies custom dining options

Pairings takes popular table bases and tops and offers them with select edges and finish options

MORGANTON, N.C. - Chaddock, the high end luxury brand known for its ability to customize both case goods and upholstery, is looking to make things simpler for retailers and their customers through a new custom dining program called Pairings.

Chaddock PairingsThe Pairings program by Chaddock is explained in detail as seen in a screen grab from the company website.
Launched just over two weeks ago, Pairings takes the company’s most popular table bases and tops and offers them in four different round table top sizes, four different edges as well as more than 50 custom finishes. The finishes are available in four different distressing levels and three sheen levels. There is also an additional apron option available.

By offering a more limited number of options, the company is looking to simplify its program and make it easier for customers at retail to choose the exact dining able they want.

The company website, www.chaddockhome.com offers a link to the Pairings program in more detail. For the full story, also see the March 20 print edition of Furniture Today.

I'm Tom Russell and have worked at Furniture/Today since August 2003. Since then, I have covered the international side of the business from a logistics and sourcing standpoint. Since then, I also have visited several furniture trade shows and manufacturing plants in Asia, which has helped me gain perspective about the industry in that part of the world. As I continue covering the import side of the business, I look forward to building on that knowledge base through conversations with industry officials and future overseas plant tours. From time to time, I will file news and other industry perspectives online and, as always, welcome your response to these Web postings.
