Southern Sky expands showroom, sales team

HIGH POINT — Southern Sky Home, a wood and upholstery resource that started operations last summer, will be showing in a new space at High Point Market this April and has also expanded its sales team to broaden its presence in the marketplace.
The Spencer sideboard is made with solid mango and is shown in a whitewash finish. The suggested retail is $1,099.
The company will be showing in about 1,650 square feet of space 2312 of Showplace, which is more than three times the size of the 450-square-foot space it had at the Suites at Market Square where it made its debut last October.
“While offering beautiful, finely crafted products is important, we understand that it’s equally important to deliver exceptional service,” said Bill Grace, owner and president. “Our new space will allow us to display a wider assortment of products in a convenient location for our target customer, providing a more satisfying shopping experience.”
The company has recently added four new sales executives that the company said will be key to driving new business and servicing the company’s growing customer base. All are new sales positions that report directly to Bill Grace.
They include Jimmy Donlon, who will cover the company’s Mid-Atlantic region and also manage key accounts. Ken and Kelly Markham are serving as marketing representatives for the lower Southeast, covering Georgia, Alabama and North Florida, and Paul Ciciarelli is responsible for the New England region and will also handle key accounts.
“With the large number of business opportunities in front of us, I knew it was important to bring together a team that is not only passionate about driving new business, but also that has strong relationships with home furnishings retailers and understands their unique needs,” Grace said.
“With their solid reputation for generating results and providing unsurpassed customer service, Jimmy, Paul, Ken and Kelly are integral to Southern Sky Home’s business strategy and success. We are fortunate to have them on our team.”
