Storis to introduce latest software suite, Vision9

Will show product to retailers at Las Vegas Market

Gary Evans -- Furniture Today, July 26, 2011

MOUNT ARLINGTON, N.J. — Retail software supplier Storis Management Systems says it will introduce its latest product suite, Vision9, at next week's Las Vegas Market.

The company said V9 incorporates a redesigned user interface using Microsoft's latest technology, .Net Framework 4. It also contains new business features and workflow management tools.

Storis will introduce the software at its booth in the World Market Center's WHFA Retail Resource Center, space C-496.

"For many retailers the toughest management task is to ensure that a fair yet competitive environment exists for their salespeople, so they can thrive financially while still performing their role as revenue generators," said David Berger, director of product management. "With that in mind, many new features are included in V9's Advanced Sales Commissions and Up System that support this objective."

The company said several enhancements assure salespeople that their efforts are properly compensated, especially when multiple associates are linked to the same customer or transaction. Management also is provided with flexible controls to determine protocols for customer engagement opportunities with the In-Touch, Up System.

The company said substantial improvements have been made to the user's navigational flow to increase efficiency. Enhanced navigation provides for a quicker learning curve for new employees, with minimal training required.

Other upgrades include logistical scheduling, revolving finance plans, Web services to financial institutions, credit reporting and more, the company said.

"We are committed to the philosophy that each new release we distribute must be enriched with many impactful enhancements that clearly differentiate it from the previous version of the product suite," said Berger.
