Western Sleep Products Taps Muncaster as VP Sales

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Serta bedding licensee Western Sleep Products has promoted Brian Muncaster to vice president of sales. He succeeds Rob Vickers, who was named vice president of sales for Toronto-based Simmons Canada last month.
In his new role, Muncaster will be responsible for all independent, hospitality and national account sales in British Columbia and Alberta. He reports to Denis Jones, president of Western Sleep Products.
A 20-year veteran of the Canadian furniture industry, Muncaster joined Western as a sales associate in 2000 and was soon promoted to sales manager for Alberta. Earlier, he had spent a number of years on the sales team at The Brick, working in communities across British Columbia and Alberta.
"Brian's wealth of bedding knowledge, along with his incredible sales and leadership abilities, make him the obvious choice for this job," Jones said in a statement. "Brian has been an integral part of our past successes, and I look forward to having Brian help lead us to our future successes."
