HUDSON, N.C. — Solid wood case goods and custom upholstery supplier Kincaid Furniture has realigned three top sales and marketing positions to better serve customers.

Todd Hady has been named vice president of sales. He is responsible for managing all sales functions and overseeing Kincaid's team of North American district sales managers. He previously was vice president of sales, Northeast region. Before joining Kincaid, he was Rhodes Furniture's vice president of sales for all areas from the Midwest to the Southeast for 25 years.

Max Dyer was named vice president of marketing. He will develop and guide strategic marketing initiatives for Kincaid and its retailers, including the Kincaid Shoppe program ShoppeLink, advertising, promotions and the company's online and social media efforts.

The company has not had a vice president of marketing for several years. The role was absorbed by other management positions and is currently being re-addressed by the company.

Dyer was previously vice president of sales, Southeast region, for Kincaid. He joined the company in 1999.

Steve Beeker, who will remain vice president, upholstery sales and merchandising, will now also be responsible for working with each of Kincaid's district sales managers to expand the company's domestically produced upholstery program.

Beeker has been with Kincaid for six years and was formerly territory manager-furniture for Waverly/F. Schumacher Fabrics.

All three executives will continue to call on major accounts and will report to Steve Kincaid, president. The realignment should create consistency in communications and management, company officials said in a press release.

"And, having Todd, Max and Steve devote their considerable talents to creating focused strategies and programs that are aligned with our customers' current and future growth plans helps ensure success for our retailers and us," Kincaid said in the release.
