TRUMBULL, Conn. — Interlude Home, an importer of accessories, furniture, lighting and art, has launched its new website, designed and developed by Whereoware, at www.interludehome.com.
"We travel to the ends of the earth to create distinctive products. We needed our website to reflect those efforts," said Carl Philips, owner of Interlude Home. "We are excited to present a website that is not only visually exciting, but also serves as a practical tool for our users."
Whereoware sought to enhance the site's usability, according to a press release from the Web strategy, design and development company.
"We were focused on the Interlude customer and wanted to not only create a fantastic site, but also to make it easier for them to work with Interlude," said Joe Harris, vice president and head of web development at Whereoware. "We achieved that by incorporating useful features into a beautiful site."
Users of the site can browse Interlude Home's offerings by product or brand, and can find information and images of the products.
Product tear sheets are available with high resolution images. The site integrates with Active Merchandiser to give users the ability to create product sheets by clicking on the product and adding it to their portfolio.
The redesigned website also allows users to share their favorite products with friends through a number of social media platforms.
