Don Belgrad joins LPK International as consultant

NORTHBROOK, Ill. — Case goods supplier LPK International has added industry veteran Don Belgrad as a consultant with its business development team.

Belgrad will work with company executives to build accounts with top retailers, in addition to consulting on design, global sourcing and quality control.

"The changes in our industry, at both the wholesale and retail levels, are dramatic and LPK International will be better prepared to serve the retail community. Don's availability and interest in working with us couldn't be more timely," Peter Kroll, president of LPK, said in a press release.

Belgrad, who is one of six nominees for election this year into the American Furniture Hall of Fame, built Schnadig International into one of the largest U.S. family-owned upholstery producers before retiring from the company. In 2009, Schnadig was sold to Markor International Furniture.
