Barry Altman received the President's Cup award for his New Bern, N.C., store, an honor recognizing the top performing associate dealer store based on sales, receipts, inventory control and accounts receivables.

Nine additional dealer stores took the Outstanding Performance Award, recognizing leading results for the same measures. The winners and store locations are Chuck Young, Hinesville, Ga.; Ben Waugh, Prattville, Ala.; Barry Altman, for Lancaster, S.C., and Wilson, N.C.; Greg Goodman, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; Beth Nobles, Palmetto, Fla.; Jon Beasley, Lake Wales, Fla.; Bob Peterson, Foley, Ala.; and Betty Crisco, Albemarle, N.C.

Brad Stafford of Badcock in Dawson, Fla., won the Wogan S. Badcock Jr. Community Service Award. The honor recognizes an associate dealer or corporate manager who exemplifies the "spirited commitment to supporting the community through involvement in local civic organizations," of the former Badcock president and grandson of the chain's founder.

Brenda Peterson of Badcock in Foley, Ala., won the Teamwork Success Award, recognizing "the tireless efforts and contributions put forth to achieve success by an unselfish, committed, caring, enthusiastic and supportive spouse."

Valued Supplier awards went to Affordable Furniture, Crestview Collections, Hughes Furniture, Liberty Furniture, Oak Furniture West, Simply Bunk Beds, Surya Rugs and Whirlpool. The honor recognizes suppliers for continued commitment to excellence in service, value, quality, training, shipping and customer awareness.

The 107-year-old Badcock is a Mulberry, Fla.-based Top 100 company with more than 300 promotional to midpriced credit-oriented stores in the Southeast.
