Therapedic partners with Indonesian mattress maker Massindo Group

SAN FRANCISCO — With a famous bridge in the background, officials of Therapedic International and Indonesia's aggressive Massindo Group launched a new partnership here that will form a bridge between the two companies, officials said.

More than 300 home furnishing executives from Indonesia and the United States gathered at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge to launch the partnership between Massindo, an Indonesian mattress manufacturer serving more than 1,000 retailers, and Therapedic, a Top 10 U.S. bedding producer with licensees around the world.
The executives from Indonesia gathered at Crissy Field Park here for the announcement after a weeklong itinerary in they and their families traveled to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco. Entertainment at the event was provided by the Insomniaczzz, a rock band of CEOs of sleep products companies and suppliers in the United States, including Therapedic's Gerry Borreggine.
"We wanted a stage that was nothing short of spectacular to announce our new partnership with Therapedic International," said Massindo Group CEO Jeffri Massie. "The Golden Gate Bridge is an American icon and the most fitting backdrop for this historical moment in our company's history. It is also a symbol of the important business and cultural bridge we are hoping to build between our two companies."

Therapedic has more than 50 licensees on six continents in countries including Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Trinidad, Jamaica, Ecuador, Ireland, Korea, Malaysia, Dubai, Israel, Jordan, Morocco, New Zealand, Australia and Indonesia.
