Jonathan Charles to open English-style pub at High Point Market
Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, September 16, 2011
HIGH POINT — English reproduction furniture specialist Jonathan Charles is adding another twist of British culture to its showroom here for the fall High Point Market.
The company will have a pub and beer garden in its 20,000-square-foot showroom at 200 North Hamilton St., North Court space 125.
The Woodman Inn pub aims to duplicate the atmosphere of an English pub, complete with dimple mugs served along a dark wood counter. An accompanying beer garden, with a courtyard playing live music, will have Boddingtons and dozens of other English beers on tap.
At market, which runs Oct. 22-27, the company also is introducing four new catalogs featuring new and inline product.
