Nourison finds 'space' for more one-of-a-kind rugs

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — Area rug house Nourison is now also into space exploration.

Right now, in a galaxy right here, Nourison is expanding its one-of-a-kind assortment of high-end rugs with several new space-inspired styles.

Among the new rugs are additions to the Prismatic and Twilight collections, as well as several others.

As the company observed, space is currently a popular theme driven by several recently released and upcoming sci-fi films — such as Life, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Alien: Covenant Valerian and Star Wars: The Last Jedi — and these trends are making their way to the home décor sector in the form of area rugs as well as mirrors, lighting and art prints.

“In 2017, we are seeing the space theme emerge from sci-fi movies,” the company said. “These one-of-a-kind rugs have a galactic feel, featuring 3D-like designs, shimmering silk-like fibers and bold shades of blue, pink and red.”
