IFFS adds AR zone for 2018 event

SINGAPORE — The International Furniture Fair Singapore has announced preliminary plans for its 2018 edition, set for March 8-11, 2018.

The event will coincide with the ASEAN Furniture Show and NOOK Asia, and show officials expect international exhibitors from more than 30 countries and more than 20,000 attendees from around the world.

Embracing a transformative approach based on digital technology, IFFS 2018 will be the first furniture trade exhibition within the region to launch the augmented reality (AR) zone. There exhibitors will be able to showcase an expanded product range and provide visitors with a more interactive and immersive experience.

In addition, three new national pavilions — Portugal, Spain and Turkey — will be making their inaugural debuts at IFFS 2018 with an array of furniture, interior lighting, finished home textiles and decorative accessories such as pottery, high-end design tableware, and cutlery.

“IFFS is an internationally renowned sourcing platform that serves as the strategic springboard for leading companies looking to penetrate the global market,” said Ernie Koh, IFFS chairman, “and both exhibitors and buyers are encouraged to use the upcoming edition to spark conversations, strengthen relationships and forge partnerships.”

Registration is open to exhibitors that wish to participate at IFFS 2018. For more information, go to www.IFFS.com.sg and www.NOOKAsia.com.sg.
