Verlo adds bed-in-a-box offerings

MILWAUKEE – Verlo Mattress, the Milwaukee-based sleep products company, says it is rethinking convenience for mattress shoppers with the launch of Verlo-to-Go, a carryout bed-in-a-box mattress.verlo to go

In addition to being available online, Verlo-to-Go will be available in stores, giving consumers the option to test the mattress before purchasing, an important part of mattress shopping that isn’t normally available with most online mattress-in-a-box options, the company said.

“Verlo’s mission is to advocate better sleep and help customers find sleep products that are suited to their specific needs without making any compromises,” said Kathy Thornton-Bias,Verlo’s president and COO. “We are committed to providing options for every customer, including customers in need of a convenient carryout mattress.”

Verlo, which started as a traditional brick-and-mortar mattress store in 1958, now offers both online and in-store experiences, in addition to the latest in sleep technology and a newly designed store concept that puts the customer’s comfort first, officials said.

If purchased online, Verlo-to-Go can be shipped anywhere in the continental U.S. at no charge. Currently, two mattress models – the v1 and v5 – are available, with additional variations and price points to be added in the coming months, officials said.

“The mattress industry is at a turning point where consumers want fast solutions and online options,” said Tom Metz, vice president of product development at Verlo. “Verlo has combined the high-quality comfort of our mattresses and our unbeatable customer service with the speed and convenience of a bed-in-a-box solution to meet customers’ sleep needs wherever they are and at every stage in life.”
