Steve Kyger, Karen Keck join retailer Innovative Mattress Solutions
Will hold key posts in sales, marketing

WINFIELD, W.Va. — Steve Kyger has been named executive vice president of sales and Karen Keck has been named chief marketing officer for Innovative Mattress Solutions, a 100-plus-store mattress retailer doing business as Mattress Warehouse and Sleep Outfitters in West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Both are new positions for the retailer.
Kyger spent 18 years with Addison, Texas-based Mattress Giant, most recently as regional sales manager of the Northeast and Midwest. Before that, he was with Mattress Discounters for 10 years in the Washington, D.C., area.
Keck comes to the bedding industry after holding senior positions at Lexmark International, where she launched content strategies and the LexmarkRewards.com program. Earlier, she worked in marketing at Target Corp.
"There is considerable potential for Sleep Outfitters and Mattress Warehouse to stand out in an over-saturated market," said Keck. "Today's shoppers are savvy, thanks to technology, and they want to know they are getting a high-quality product at a great value in a way that's convenient for them. We're gearing up to deliver just that."
Kyger and Keck report to Kim Knopf, president and CEO of Innovative Mattress Solutions.
"Steve brings a breadth of knowledge while Karen brings innovative marketing and eCommerce experience" said Knopf. "They will help us achieve the growth we're looking for as we expand our business into new markets and platforms."
