Legacy Classic promotes Sullens to merchandising role

Executive will take on added responsibilities with LC Kids

HIGH POINT – Case goods importer Legacy Classic and sister youth furniture specialist Legacy Classic Kids have promoted Scott Sullens to vice president of sales and merchandising, a new position.

Sullens was most recently vice president of sales at Legacy Classic, a role he has held since March 2015. Before that he was director of the Natuzzi Design Studio. He also has held senior sales and marketing positions with Lexington Home Brands and Broyhill. He started his career selling furniture at Jordan’s Furniture.

In his new position, he continues to report to Don Essenberg, president and CEO of Legacy Classic and LC Kids, and will continue to share sales responsibilities with current Vice President of Sales Jerry Sagerdahl. He will also take on additional responsibilities in merchandising, primarily with LC Kids product.

“We are very excited about Scott’s additional involvement in merchandising,” Essenberg said. “Scott’s focus will continue to be growing our business with current customers and increasing our customer base, along with additional merchandising responsibilities. We feel confident Scott’s extensive knowledge of product, retail and sales leadership will strengthen performance and product offerings of Legacy Classic and LC Kids in multiple ways.”
