HIGH POINT — Construction is under way on a freestanding showroom building here that will be occupied next year by leather upholstery resource Violino.
The two-story, 30,000 square-foot building will allow the company to display virtually its entire lineup of stationary upholstery, motion upholstery and occasional chairs, said Mauro Bracciale, the company's president of sales and marketing.
It is in the 100 block of South Hamilton Street, about one-half block from the New Classics building.
Bracciale said the new showroom will be double the size of Violino's existing showroom in space 602 of the Market On Green building, where the company will again show during the October market.
He said the new building should be ready for the next High Point Premarket in March.
