HIGH POINT — Folio 21, a new case goods resource set to show here at market, is looking to have much of its line available for shipping in February, allowing retailers to floor the goods in early spring.

Specifically, the company will show a total of 23 bedrooms at its 11,000-square-foot showroom in IHFC W-647. In a related announcement, the company said that Connie Post, a leading retail design strategist and the wife of President and CEO Bill Benton, has designed the space for Folio 21.

Folio 21 is led by Benton and Sean Slack, former CR International and Powell executives, and James Martin Jr., a former sales rep with Broyhill. Slack is senior vice president of merchandising and product development and Martin is vice president of major accounts.

The company made its debut appearance here at the Sept. 12-13 Premarket, where it received strong dealer response on 13 new bedrooms. These and the other new groups being shown at market are being made in an established plant that is a little more than 3.5 million square feet in Vietnam that officials declined to name.

Based on commitments and early orders placed at Premarket, nine of those groups are in production and will be available for container direct shipping from a warehouse in Vietnam in February.

Five-piece sets are targeted to retail from $1,699 to $1,999 in a variety of contemporary and transitional styles.
