LAS VEGAS — National buying group Furniture First has partnered with Ante4autism with a $10,000 donation annually for the next three years.

Now in its 10th year, Ante4autism is an annual fundraising event within the furniture industry to benefit families and children with autism. The event is a poker tournament held during the Winter Las Vegas Market, and earlier this year, the organization raised a record $110,931.

“The board of Furniture First has been looking to partner with a national charity, and since Autism touches so many lives, both throughout the Furniture First membership, as well as across the country, the Ante4Autism charity event was a good fit,” said Andrew Kauffman, CEO of Furniture First.

“Furniture First members have been supportive of our event in the past, but this commitment takes that support to a whole new level. They are a class act in every sense of the word,” said Doug Krinsky, founder of Ante4autism.

The 10th annual Ante4autism poker tournament event, scheduled for Jan. 28, 2018, will be presented by Leggett & Platt, a key supporter of Ante4autism since its founding. The event will support five charities from across the country dedicated to helping families and children impacted by autism. The charities for 2018 have not been announced yet.

Co-hosts for the event include: Karina Jett, professional poker player; Allen Parvizian, APAR Management, LLC; Myra Stone, independent representative; Randy Coconis, Coconis Furniture; Stuart Carlitz, Eclipse International; Phil Miner, Symbol Mattress; Mike McQuiston, Symbol Mattress; Jerry Williams, BoxDrop Mattress & Furniture; Anthony Mehran, Huffman Koos Furniture; Joseph Amato, Rock ‘N Roll City Mattress; and Doug Krinsky, Brooklyn Bedding.
