GNYHFA Honors Bellarosa During Golf Outing

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. - The Greater New York Home Furnishings Assn., hosted a golf outing here at Lake Isle Country Club in July.
Abraham Feinblum of Julius M. Feinblum Real Estate and president of the IHFRA-affiliated organization, said the event provided fun, food and networking for some 60 people attending.
During the program, the 67th annual Meadoff Memorial Award for Sportsmanship was presented to Tony Bellarosa of Furniture Concepts, representing Klaussner.
Jordan Greenberg of Apropos Furniture in New York presented the honor, originally established by his grandfather Hal Meadoff in honor of Hal's father, A.S. Meadoff. Greenberg congratulated Bellarosa and said, "This award is special because reflects the recipient's lifestyle behavior, sense of fair play and fair-mindedness."
Personal relationships in the industry, social consciousness and support of humane and philanthropic causes are attributes considered by the awards committee of past recipients, who meet each year to review and choose the honoree.
The winning golf team at the outing was Ashley Furniture, with golfers Dennis Spiegel, Frank Arroyo, Mike Siegel and Anthony Alvino.
The GNYHFA thanked its sponsors for the event, including Julius M. Feinblum Real Estate, Cory 1st Choice Delivery, Raymour & Flanigan of Liverpool, N.Y., Rick Powell, and Tommy Leflein of Lexington Home Brands.
