H.T. Hackney Launching H.Home
Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, October 12, 2011
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Wholesale distributor H.T. Hackney is launching H.Home, a stationary and motion upholstery resource that will soon begin producing goods at two Tennessee factories.
Hackney, which also is the parent company of case goods and glider rocker resource Holland House, said the new company will make its debut at the October High Point Market, but its showroom location was not immediately available.
"We are excited to enter the marketplace at this time with a comprehensive product line and a wide range of services where H.Home can become a partner with our customers rather than a vendor," said Bruce Pearl, H.T. Hackney's vice president of marketing.
He said stationary upholstery, occasional chairs, headboards and banquettes will be produced at an existing factory in Athens, Tenn., while a new factory is under construction in Bean Station, Tenn., that will produce motion upholstery, including home theater seating and entertainment furniture.
The new company will utilize Hackney's extensive logistics network that will allow shipments to be made from several locations across the country, he added.
