Furniture Library set to reopen on Oct. 22

HIGH POINT - The Bernice Bienenstock Furniture Library at 1009 N. Main St. here will reopen on Oct. 22, the opening day of the October High Point Market and will showcase its renovations.
The library will be open every day of market, Oct. 22-27, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will host tours for interested visitors any time during operating hours. After market, the library will return to its regular operating hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, but will continue to provide tours as requested.
The library's renovations, done by Freeman Kennett Architect Firm in High Point, include updated research areas and permanent collection placement as well as an updated book sale space.
Also, the library has a large meeting room for use by the furniture and design industries. The library invites colleges, universities and industry organization to inquire about using the space for lectures, research, conferences and meetings. It's online at www.furniturelibrary.com.
