Hunsucker, Vasquez join upholstery producer H.Home

Company will show in IHFC at High Point Market

ATHENS, Tenn. — H.Home, an upholstery producer recently launched here, said it has secured a showroom for this month's High Point Market and hired two former Berkline executives for key management posts.

The company, which is producing goods at two Tennessee factories, said Grey Hunsucker has been named vice president of sales and John Vasquez has been named vice president of manufacturing and engineering. Both have more than 25 years experience in the upholstery business.

"We are delighted to have Grey and John join our company," said Mike Magill, president and general manager. "Their experience and insight are extremely valuable as we launch H.Home and introduce our comprehensive offerings of products, and services."

The company will introduce its stationary and motion upholstery lines at market, where it will have a showroom in space H-704 of the International Home Furnishings Center.

The stationary line is being produced in Athens, and a new facility for production of home theater seating and other entertainment furniture is being completed in Bean Station, Tenn.

Magill said most products will be available on a quick-ship basis from a network of 14 warehouses in the eastern half of the U.S.

"Our warehouses will enable our customers to order minimum quantities, even single sofa units, at incredibly good set freight rates so they can minimize their inventory exposure," he said.

H.Home is a unit of wholesale distributor H.T. Hackney.
