Coremin joins Charleston Forge

BOONE, N.C. - Dining, occasional and metal beds manufacturer Charleston Forge has named Scott Coremin vice president of sales, a new position.
The company said Coremin has been in the industry for more t h a n 3 0 years. He got his start at his family's high-end furniture store in Pompton Plains, N.J., and later worked as a sales representative for Lexington Home Brands and for Precedent Furniture and in management at contemporary upholstery specialist Weiman/Preview.
At Charleston Forge, he reports to Rick Grant, president, who previously handled some of the responsibilities that will now be handled by Coremin. Coremin will oversee sales and marketing initiatives and the company's 20-member sales force, and will help grow that rep base around the country.
"Our biggest challenge is getting the word out to retailers, designers and specifiers - to educate them about who we are and what we do," Grant said in a statement. "Our products are perfect for residential as well as hospitality use. I believe we have found the perfect person in Scott to spearhead this effort."
Charleston Forge will offer a new line of tables, metal beds and other pieces at the Oct. 22-27 High Point Market at its showroom in space 110A of Market Square.
