Bob's to grand open third D.C. area store Nov. 10

ROCKVILLE, Md. — A grand opening event is scheduled for a new 62,000-square-foot Bob's Discount Furniture here Nov. 10, the third new Bob's in the D.C. metro area in six months.

The Rockville store will be a flagship store and the company's largest to date, with retail and clearance centers. It is expected to create about 100 jobs.

With the new store, the company will have 43 stores in New England, New Jersey, New York, Maryland and Virginia.

To show its commitment to the Rockville community, Bob's will use the grand opening to present checks totaling $20,000 for 12 local schools as part of the company's Outreach program. Company president Bob Kaufman will be on hand for the ribbon-cutting.
