Richard Olmeda resigns as Stein World CEO

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, November 2, 2011

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Richard Olmeda has resigned as CEO of accent furniture, occasional table and lighting source Stein World to pursue other interests, company Board Chairman David Fiore announced today.

"Mr. Olmeda has been a valued contributor to Stein World over the past four years," said Fiore. "All of us are appreciative of Richard's leadership and contributions and wish him every success in his future endeavors."

Fiore said that an executive search has been launched and that he will serve as interim CEO until a permanent replacement is named.
