MANLIUS, N.Y. - High end case goods and upholstery manufacturer L & J.G. Stickley has hired industry veteran Blain Wrench as vice president of sales, a new position.
Previously, Stickley had a national sales manager, Kevin Curtis, who retired in July.
Wrench comes to the company from HFI Brands, where he was senior vice president of sales and operations. Earlier in his career, he was a sales representative for Stanton Cooper, Frederick Edward and Drexel Heritage and later became president of luxury furniture retailer Brittain's Fine Furniture in Houston.
He also has been vice president of sales for the Southern region and vice president of retail development for Drexel Heritage and held a similar retail role at Drexel's parent company, Furniture Brands International.
At Stickley, he reports to company owners Aminy Audi and Edward Audi and will be responsible for national and international dealer sales. He also will oversee all territory managers.
"We are very fortunate to have such an accomplished and highly respected industry executive," Aminy Audi, president and CEO, said in a statement. "Blain has a wealth of experience and brings a fresh perspective and new vitality to our already very strong team."
