NEW YORK — Tempur-Pedic office chairs are coming to a Staples store near you.
Office seating producer The Raynor Group said it has partnered with Tempur-Pedic North America to produce and distribute a line of office seating, which will use the specialty sleep major's proprietary Tempur foam material in the seat cushion.
The chairs will be sold under the Tempur-Pedic brand name at more than 1,400 Staples locations and through www.staples.com and the Staples print catalog.
"We are very excited to join with Raynor to bring Tempur-Pedic's unique comfort technology from the bedroom to the office with this new line of seating products," Rick Anderson, president of Tempur-Pedic North America, said in a statement. "We have an established reputation as leaders in the premium sleep market, and office seating was a natural extension for our unique and proprietary Tempur material. We are excited about the potential in the office seating market, where comfort and support are key."
Raynor Group President Marc Fries said the new chairs will be an important part of his company's product offerings as well as a "driver of future growth for Raynor."
