Klaussner reports success with Solutions Studio concept

ASHEBORO, N.C. - Full-line importer and manufacturer Klaussner Home Furnishings is reporting success with its Solutions Studio in-store concept the company launched in April.
Klaussner has opened 14 locations since introducing the program.
The company said in a press release that it plans to again dedicate 5,000 square feet of its showroom at this week's High Point Market to promoting the studios. The company exhibits at 101 N. Hamilton St.
In retail formats, the Solutions Studios range from 2,500 square feet to 5,500 square feet and offer a simple way to sell Klaussner products, the company says.

The company said it has opened studios at J&J Furniture at Daphne, Saraland and Tillmans Corner, Ala.; D.T. McCall & Sons in Lebanon, Lafayette and Cookeville Tenn.; Van Vreedes in Appleton and Green Bay, Wis., Kaplan's Furniture and Mattress Gallery in North Olmstead and Elyria, Ohio; Carolina Furniture Concepts in Waynesville and Arden, N.C.; Compass Furniture in New Orleans, La.; and Save-On Furniture in Stevens Point, Wis..
The studios feature custom order upholstery in multiple product lines and price points. The core feature of the studios, according to Klaussner, is domestically made upholstery delivered in 21 days.
For each studio, Klaussner offers designer assistance as well as point-of-purchase materials, tagging solutions, distinctive elements to highlight the area and a computerized Solutions Center that simplifies the selling process for retail sales associates.
Klaussner developed the selling process for the studios with MicroD.
