Leather Living unveils quick-ship program

HIGH POINT - Leather upholstery resource Leather Living will unveil a quick-ship program this week at the High Point Market involving 20 of its best-selling, Canadian-made sofas.
     The sofas, which retail for $799 to $1,099 in all-leather covers, are available in three colors and will ship in two weeks. Several additional colors are available on a special order basis and will ship in three weeks, said Parm Dhaliwal, the company's president.
     "This allows our dealers to get more dollars per square foot while handling a limited number of SKUs," he said.
     Sofas in the new program feature solid wood frames, sinuous spring bases and self-adjustable back cushions. Several models also have carved wood legs that are adjustable.
