IHFRA partners with Web4Retail on Web retail marketing tools
Reps will refer retailers to firm
Gary Evans -- Furniture Today, November 10, 2011
HIGH POINT — The International Home Furnishings Representatives Assn. says it is partnering with Web4Retail to offer retailers a variety of Internet marketing tools, including website design and development and social media marketing.
IHFRA member reps would not be selling the program to retailers, but would refer them to Web4Retail.
Web4Retail offers retailers a variety of Internet marketing assistance, including website design and development and social media marketing, such as Facebook Pages for Business.
"Social media is on the minds of most retailers," said Denise Keniston, Web5Retail's president and CEO. "Furniture retailers, especially, want their marketing efforts to include social media and we are offering them affordable solutions."
Such efforts can help improve retailers' performance, helping them maintain and recapture market share, officials said.
"In viewing all of the research that Web4Retail has conducted, we believe they are the only provider that fully shares IHFRA's commitment to improving and preserving the independent retailer," said Kathy Parks, IHFRA's executive director.
