Hickory Springs opening four service centers
Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, November 7, 2011
HICKORY, N.C. - Components manufacturer Hickory Springs said that as a result of the growth of its consumer retail products division, Hickory at Home, it will open four service centers to better position its products and increase efficiency.
It will open service centers this fall at Hickory Springs facilities in Americus, Ga., New Albany, Miss., Pinetops, N.C., and Commerce, Calif. Several additional locations will be opening coast to coast next year, the company said.
"With our product lines continuing to expand, we saw the need to open additional service centers to better position us geographically and serve our customers' needs," said Hickory Springs Executive Vice President Dwayne Welch.
The service centers provide regional warehousing, distribution and servicing of all Hickory at Home products. The brand produces and distributes exclusive lines of futon frames and mattresses, adjustable beds and other bedding products.
