Retired home furnishings executive Ron Bolen dies

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Ron Bolen, a former home furnishings executive, has died of cancer. He was 67.
Bolen began his career with Georgia Coated Fabrics and then formed his own company, Forum Fabrics, in 1979. He later went on to head the North American operations for Canada-based case goods manufacturer Wild Rose Furniture before retiring in 2002.
Bolen is survived by his wife, two daughters, including Tamara Evans of Liberty Furniture Inds., and two grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
