Dorothy Cleveland, mother of Tupelo market executives, dies

SULLIGENT, Ala. — Dorothy Jane Cleveland, 90, died Tuesday at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss.
She was the mother of Tupelo Furniture Market Chairman and CEO V.M. Cleveland and former market President Bill Cleveland. Other survivors include daughter Janice Butler, sons Tommy Cleveland and Grover Cleveland, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday with services to follow at noon at Norwood Funeral Home Chapel in Sulligent, Ala., where she was a resident.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Helping Hands of Lamar County, c/o Barbara Carruth, 241 Jaggers Road, Sulligent, Ala. 35586.
