Registration opens for Nationwide's PrimeTime event

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. — Furniture, electronics and appliance buying group Nationwide Marketing Group has opened registration for its PrimeTime member conference and show at the Gaylord Palms Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Feb. 26-29.
The theme for this convention is, "Impact your business, your marketplace, your life."
"Independents from across the country will meet and share ideas on the challenges they face and brainstorm new ways to beat the market," Nationwide said in a release.
It also urged manufacturers and service providers exhibiting at the show to "come prepared to provide (members) with the very best customized group exclusive programming and show offers."
At the last PrimeTime, held in August, the buying group celebrated 40 years of service and said the event was its largest, with more than 3,400 people registered, representing more than 1,000 furniture, electronics, furniture and rent-to-own dealers as well as vendor companies.
Through its PrimeTime University, the group is offering new courses relating to the convention theme, including "Raise the bar. How to develop a more effective retail team;" "Don't compete on price, compete on value;" and "Culture shift: Understanding the modern workplace."
