Overall, fabric upholstery was the cover of choice by 57% of reclining chair shoppers and leather was most popular for 43% of consumers.
Casual styles were chosen by more than three-fourths of fabric recliner shoppers and two-fifths of leather shoppers. And with color, brown was the favorite for 64% of consumers looking at leather recliners and 38% of those searching for fabric.
