Morris celebrates 70 years with 70 days of giveaways
September 13, 2017,
DAYTON, Ohio — Morris Furniture is celebrating its 70 th anniversary in business with a sweepstakes promotion that promises to pay out at least $100,000 in furniture and mattresses to at least 70 winners.
Starting Sept. 15 and continuing for at least 70 days, the Top 100 company will select one winner each day among sweepstakes entrants. No purchase is required, but customers who make a purchase between Sept. 12 and Nov. 22 are entered in the sweepstakes is they choose.
Non-buyers who enter and win would receive a gift card equal to the average amount of all purchase made through the promotion period up through the drawing date.
The promotion is sponsored and administered by Morris’ media partner Spectrum Reach, a division of Charter Communications, and is open to U.S. residents 18 years old and older who live in Spectrum’s Columbus; Cincinnati; Dayton, Oho; and northern Kentucky service areas.
If Morris hasn’t given away $100,000 after the 70 days of drawings, Spectrum will keep draw names until it does.
“Less than 25% of all new businesses last 10 years or more,” Larry Klaben, president and CEO of the 18-store, Dayton, Ohio-based retailer said in a release.
“To be able to celebrate our 70th anniversary is truly a very special accomplishment. We are very fortunate to have an incredible team of 500 company associates who are passionate about providing great guest experiences day in and day out."
All Morris-owned stores and brand banners are participating. The retailer operates five Morris Home stores, 10 Ashley HomeStores and three Morris Back Room showrooms.
