AICO honors three employees with annual awards

PICO RIVERA, Calif. — AICO/Amini Innovation Corp. honored employees with three annual awards at its holiday party this month at the Hyatt Resort in Huntington Beach, Calif.
Named Employee of the Year was AICO's director of fabric merchandising, Jacqueline Moss, who has been with the company for nearly five years.
"The essence of this award is in the acronym AICO, which stands for Attitude, Initiative, Commitment and Outstanding performance. Jackie consistently contributes new ideas while enthusiastically leading the charge in the merchandising of AICO's top-of-bed division," said company President Martin Ploy.
The Spirit of Excellence award went to Leo Martinez, AICO's showroom coordinator, in recognition of the "exemplary efficiency and energy he puts forth at all times. Leo travels to each of the AICO showrooms throughout the year to prepare them and set up the product."
"Leo plays a vital role in the staging of our showrooms. He is a true leader, and valuable asset to the company," said Chuck Reilly, AICO's senior vice president of sales and marketing. Martinez has been with the company for nearly seven years.
The Partner in Progress award was presented to actress and artist Jane Seymour in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the design and branding of the collections within Michael Amini and Jane Seymour, A Design Collaboration. The partnership was launched in January 2010.
"Jane has great passion for design, and it really shines through when she talks about the product with our customers. She has been an amazing partner, and I look forward to a long and lasting union," said AICO CEO Michael Amini.
Amini added, "All three of these awards were well deserved, and I am honored to have such a committed team behind me."
