Furniture Training Company sets January contest for salespeople
Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, December 28, 2011
NORTH LOGAN, Utah — The Furniture Training Company is holding a contest in January for sales associates that participate in its training programs.
During the month, salespeople who complete at least one interactive training module can take part in a prize drawing. The company has nearly 100 online training modules that offer product knowledge, sales skills, room design and other skills that can be used in the day-to-day selling of furniture.
Weekly prizes will include an Amazon Kindle E Ink reader, a Canon Powershot A2200 digital camera, a $100 Amazon.com gift card and a Kindle Fire color tablet.
To participate, salespeople also must subscribe to www.furnituretrainingcompany.com
Winners will be chosen by a random drawing each Friday in January. The goal is to encourage salespeople to boost their skills and industry knowledge throughout the year, the company said.
"Furniture stores will continue to struggle if they aren't able to help consumers purchase comfortable, functional and satisfying living spaces. Salespeople must make a commitment to continuous year-round sales training if they want to reach their full potential," said Mark Lacy, president of the Furniture Training Company.
