WAARDENBURG, Netherlands — Ashley Furniture HomeStore has opened its first showroom in Western Europe here and an additional Mexico store as the Top 100 dedicated store network continues its international expansion.

The small, roughly 2,500-square-foot Netherlands location is operated by licensee Jan Huigen.

“With our presence in the Netherlands, we look forward to earning the loyalty and trust of lifetime consumers and promoting the Ashley Furniture HomeStore brand in this region,” Kiki Prins, Ashley international marketing specialist, said in a statement.

Waardenburg Mayor Harry de Vries, who attended the grand opening of the showroom, called Ashley HomeStore “a very good addition to this vivid area.”

“With the commitment of the owners and store associates, we are sure this will be a success,” he said.
