Kas Rugs celebrates new collection with Langdon

Showroom events scheduled during High Point Market

SOMERSET, N.J. — Kas Rugs and its new designer licensing partner, Libby Langdon, are ready to party.

During Market, Kas Rugs will be introducing eight new collections — four of which are with the interior designer and decorator.

New introductions will include vintage traditional looks, classic patterns with a farmhouse twist, hand-knotted flat-weaves and relaxed indoor/outdoor rugs.

A highlight is Porter, a textured hand-knotted flat-weave constructed of a wool and bamboo silk blend, with a braided fringe.

Another is Cecilia, which is hand knotted of 100% rustic and knobby wool.

In honor of the debut of their Libby Langdon for Kas collection, both Kas and Langdon will together host the “Redesign All Day with Rugs and Rosé” cocktail party on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Then on Sunday, from 12:30 to 2 p.m., Kas will host a lunch while Langdon presents “The Genesis of a Licensed Collection,” an informative and fast-paced educational seminar focused on her journey and the strategies she employs to define and raise brand awareness, identify licensing opportunities and broaden outreach.

Both events will take place in the Kas showroom, located at the International Home Furnishings Center in space G-270.
