SUNRISE, Fla. — Rana Furniture has opened its sixth and largest Southeast Florida store here, aiming to broaden its consumer base with more modern looks.

The 25,000-square-foot showroom opened at Sawgrass Mills Circle on West Sunrise Boulevard with new lifestyle displays “focused on innovation, design and decoration," said Rana President Douglas Esser. The retailer’s other Miami-area stores average about 15,000 square feet.

“We are introducing an entirely new concept, which goes beyond the traditional style of our offer,” he said, adding that this new model for Rana “will allow us to differentiate ourselves and grow.”

Esser said consumers today are showing more interest in modern furniture designs, so the retailer dedicated a large space in the new showroom to cover the demand for this style “without forgetting our promise of good prices.”

In a release, the Miami-based company noted it offers a wide assortment of furniture designed and manufactured in the United States, Italy, Indonesia, South America, Canada and China. The new minimalist, modern and contemporary classic looks differentiate it from other area stores, it said.

New suppliers to the stores include Violino, Kuka, Sharelle and ALF. The showroom also carries new looks from existing suppliers, including HTL.

“We believe that everyone deserves a beautifully furnished home,” Esser said. “It is our mission to provide quality furniture at a price that anyone can afford and dedication to build lasting customer relationships.”
