Aaron's names Jeannie Cave VP of real estate
Clint Engel -- Furniture Today, January 17, 2012
ATLANTA — Aaron's has hired Jeannie Cave as vice president of real estate and construction.
She replaces Paul Doize, who left the company.
Cave, who reports to Gil Danielson, executive vice president and chief operating offering of the Atlanta-based rent-to-own operator, will be responsible for activities including the development of strategies supporting Aaron's real estate goals and the management of its real estate portfolio for company-operated and franchised stores, the company said in a release.
Aaron's called Cave has been a real estate professional for 10 years with Cox Enterprises. She also consulted on real estate and construction projects for commercial interior design firm VeenendaalCave, and served as director of office properties and project management for Advantis/The St. Joe Company, a commercial real estate services company.
"Jeannie brings an impressive track record in corporate real estate to Aaron's," said Ron Allen, the company's interim president and CEO. "She has deep experience, a keen sense of business and excellent negotiating skills - all of which will be instrumental in guiding Aaron's continued store growth."
Aaron's, which sells and leases furniture, electronics, appliances and accessories, has more than 1,940 company-owned and franchised stores in 48 states and Canada.
