Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, January 17, 2012
LAS VEGAS — Ante 4 Autism, an event held during the Las Vegas Market that's a fundraiser for autism and is backed by a number of home furnishings executives, has attracted new sponsors.
Karl Glassman of Leggett & Platt and Cathi Glassman have signed up as gold sponsors of the event and Edward Weintraub of Mantua has signed on as a bronze sponsor.
"We have received another great donation for our online auction, this one from Tempur-Pedic," said Doug Krinsky, a co-host of the event. "Tempur-Pedic has donated a Cloud Supreme queen flat set to the online auction and Richie Gallaher, director of national account development, has signed on as a co-host of the event."
Furniture retailers, buyers, manufacturers, sales representatives and suppliers attending the Las Vegas Market are invited to the Fourth Annual Ante 4 Autism event, set for Tuesday, Jan. 31 at Binion's in downtown Las Vegas at 7 p.m.
"There will be a Texas hold'em tournament to benefit Autism Speaks, as well as an opportunity to donate or sponsor the event and bid online for great home furnishings items if you are not able to play," said Krinsky, the parent of a child with autism and sales manager for Restonic.
Participants can register or donations can be made online at www.ante4autism.com.
