NEW YORK - Home furnishings veteran Robert Duban has been named executive vice president of sales for Covington Fabrics & Design.
Duban has 30 years in the furniture and contract textile industries and was most recently senior vice president of sales for The Robert Allen Group. He joined Robert Allen in 2003 after holding sales management positions with F. Schumacher and Decorator's Walk.
At Covington he reports to Greg Tarver, president and CEO, who joined the company in September from Robert Allen.
Tarver said Duban will lead sales in the home furnishings and contract markets and also will manage sales in the company's export division.
