Caracole debuts upholstery across collections

caracole classicThe Fancy Footwork debuted in Caracole Classics in blue velvet.
AT THE MARKET — Caracole showcased many new upholstery pieces across four lifestyle collections in High Point this week.

From interpretations of French Provincial classics to modern sophistication, Caracole unveiled new silhouettes with distinctively different looks in its Classic, Modern and Compositions collections, all styled to suit everyday living.

Caracole Classic’s collection debuted with looks inspired by old world classic, updated and contemporized. A palette of neutrals from current couture fashion and finishes ranging from Radiant Pearl and Whisper of Gold to Dark Figured Maple and Dark Silver Paint convey the blend of casual French to modernism.

The Fancy Footwork sofa has an English arm and contemporary style with a midnight blue velvet cover finished off with custom-designed acrylic feet. Also in Classics, “In One Fell Swoop” is a chair featuring a swooping arm in an all-metal frame with a brushed chrome finish and a chunky seat upholstered in a textured knit Belgian fabric.

From the Caracole Modern collection, Modern Fusion brings together smooth planes, textured surfaces and a mix of materials to create a distinctly contemporary look. The modular sectional from this collection includes three pieces configurable to any room size and shape. A button tufted leather swivel chair features metal with smoked stainless finish.

Highlighted in the new Compositions by Caracole, a collection inspired by elements of European Provincial, is the Lafayette Chair -- a wing chair design updated with scalloped detailing with a tall back accentuated by deep ribs. It has a generous cushion and low arms with a curved base on carved, deep brown legs.

The Caracole showroom is located in IHFC, C-500.
