BAD AXE, Mich. - William "Bill" Reimann, a former retailer and sales representative, has died at age 64.
Reimann was owner and operator of the former Reimann-Snyder Furniture Store in Bad Axe, which was co-founded by his father and uncle in 1946. Reimann sold the store in 2000. He also worked as a representative for Sauder during the 1990s.
Reimann was heavily involved in firefighting. He joined the Bad Axe Fire Department in his early 20s and was a former member of the Michigan State Fireman's Assn., where he served a stint as president and was a training instructor. He also was a member of the National Volunteer Fire Council and served as the representative for Michigan.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, two grandchildren and a sister.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan State Fireman's Assn.
